Al-Numaniyya: Woollen Garments Makers

In his Aḥsan al-taqāsīm fi maʿrifat al-aqālīm, al-Muqaddasi (d. 991) notes that woollen garments that were made in al-Numaniyya. He described these clothes as being beautiful and with a light brown colour. See also: Weaver; Spinner; Wool Maker; Embroiderer.
