al-Hiba: Rope Makers

Making rope from yarn is a task primarily done by men. These are used for tying bundles, suspending objects, leading animals, as belts, or for carrying guns. Yarn for the last three uses is commonly multicoloured. See also: Weaver; Maker of Rope; Plier; Dyer; Spinner.
